BLISS CARES, INC. is a nonprofit organization located in Orlando, Florida. Since its inception in February 2015, Bliss CARES, a 340B covered entity has provided linkage to comprehensive medical treatment and care under one-roof. We collaborate with other community liaisons, which allows us to educate, serve, treat and assist communities at risk of HIV/AIDS, HEPATITIS, and STDs in Central Florida. We have seen an improvement in our patients' health outcomes and their quality of life from linkages of HIV Health Care and Treatment from LGBTQ people to LGBTQ people through programs to assist the community. The mission of Bliss CARES is to save lives by treating and preventing the spread of HIV, Hepatitis and STD's. We strive to serve every person who walks through our doors, regardless of ability to pay.

In the approach we take when serving individuals in need of essential food, in the way we run programs designed to fill a specific need or in all the ways we help the Lake County community. We feed the body by providing essential food to individuals in need. We distribute not only from our main pantry location in Mount Dora, but at 7 additional satellite locations throughout Lake County. Taking food to distribution sites in impoverished areas of our community assures access to food for those struggling populations who need it most. We educate the mind of those we serve by providing information with healthful ways to prepare the food we distribute. We promote a healthful lifestyle to our clients and provide as much fresh fruits and vegetables as possible. We lift the spirit of all individuals by treating everyone we serve with dignity and respect and provide hope and help. We listen and do what we can to help lead those we serve toward a path of self-sufficiency. We the food insecure with a goal to end hunger in the communities we serve.

PEOPLE WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOUNDATION, provides healthcare orientation and assistance for the health uninsured population in the community. For those who cannot afford it, we qualify them and offer them financial aid for their healthcare needs as specialist's office visits, prescriptions, diagnose tests, high risk pregnancy evaluation, biopsy test, small medical procedures and beyond.

Alzheimer Resource Center aka Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center, Inc.
The Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center is the Central Florida community resource for families and non-professional caregivers affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias through education, advocacy, research opportunities and compassionate support." Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center's focus is on "the forgotten victim," the caregiver, coping with a difficult long-term disease as well as isolation, depression and stress. By assisting families in their care giving role with a wide variety of services, ADRC's goal is to increase the quality of life to patients and family members by reducing caregiver stress and patient abuse, promoting caregiver wellness, providing disease-specific education and support programs and improving overall patient care. The other important aspect of Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center's mission is finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. ADRC has a contract with the state of Florida's Brain Bank program to coordinate enrollment and brain autopsies for a 22-county area, working with leading medical facilities such as Orlando Health. The program coordinates the donation of brain tissue of those who have died with Alzheimer's and related diseases, thus providing national and worldwide scientists with access to rapid retrieval tissue for research studies. The program also provides families with closure through a definitive patient diagnosis and helping them understand their potential genetic risk of contacting dementia. Presently, only a brain autopsy at the time of death can confirm that an individual definitely suffered from Alzheimer's disease or one of the other 200 forms of dementia.
